After my father passed away, I felt an unavoidable void form. I considered him the “king.” He basically ruled my world and always took care of anything I didn’t know how to deal with. “Daughter.” is a constant reminder that I am still the child of a King. Although He may not tangibly reside in Louisiana and I can’t send Him annoying text messages, God and I have found a way to connect and express ourselves through my artwork. He constantly reminds me that I am not without, never have been nor ever will be.
